Passports: Visitors/investors from the US, UK, EU, Caricom, & Canada do not require Visas to enter. Must have return tickets in hand.
Flights: 2 Hour direct flight from Miami, Dallas, Houston and other flights from LA and Raleigh, North Carolina.
Climate: Sub Tropical tempered with usual cool sea breeze. Average annual temperature is 80 Degrees Farenheit. Light informal clothing works best. Rainy season is between June to August.
Time Zone: Belize occupies time zone GMT-6, same as US Central Standard time and daylight savings time is not observed.

Political: An independent member of the British Commonwealth since September 21, 1981, Belize has a stable, democratically elected (every five years) parliamentary government with two major parties.

Private Aircraft: Planes should clear through Phillip Goldson International Airport with the Belize Civil Aviation Department and the Belize Airports Authority.
Tourism/Real Estate/Hotels: Belize’s Barrier Reef is the largest in this hemisphere and a declared World Heritage Site. Corals offer a paradise for fishing, diving, snorkeling and marine life.
